Singing at the GISHW International Summit’s “Bridge to Riyadh”
EXPO Hall, Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan / Osaka
A vocal performance at the GISHW International Summit’s event bridging to the Riyadh Expo.

I was able to fulfill this important role successfully.
I helped build a bridge from Japan to Saudi Arabia, host of the next World Expo.
At the GISHW international summit, held at the Expo Hall by a coalition of international organizations and companies including the International Labour Organization (ILO), a United Nations specialized agency,
a special ceremony took place to create a “bridge” to Saudi Arabia, the host country of Expo 2030.
Mr. Fujita took the stage as the representative of the Japanese organizers, followed by a speech from Professor Takao Dome of Osaka University, chair of the Inochi Forum executive committee.
Following Professor Dome’s speech,
I performed “INOCHI,” the Inochi Forum theme song that I composed.

Singing on behalf of Japan just before the Saudi chair took the stage
was a historic opportunity to carry Japan’s hopes for life forward to Expo 2030 Riyadh.
The song resonated with people in the hall across national boundaries.

The Saudi chair was deeply moved, and it now looks as though I may sing in Riyadh in 2030.
I never imagined, even before September 27 arrived,
that things would develop in this way…
I am deeply grateful for every connection and every guiding hand. We will continue to carry the message of life
from Japan to the world.
