2021
April 3
Saturday, April 3: A special screening at Takeda Castle during the nighttime cherry blossom illumination
Organizer: Feel&Sense / Co-organizer: Noah Indoor Stage / Supported by: Asago City and Asago City Board of Education
The pandemic has prompted people around the world to reconsider what it means to live and how we wish to be. What will we value as we continue living in connection with our communities? What must we share as members of society to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals by 2030? Businesses and communities will work together to create an opportunity for adults and children to consider the future of the Earth. The theme is “Thinking about the Earth’s future from Takeda Castle. Unforgettable moments of wonder can change the world.”
Under a sky full of stars at Takeda Castle Ruins, we will “turn our hearts toward the hopes of our ancestors and feel the life we are living here and now.”
Bringing together “the beauty of cherry blossoms at night in a dreamlike setting” and “the beauty of our lives felt beneath the stars,” we will offer children from the community and visiting guests an unforgettable experience. As we speak about the future, hearts can open naturally, creating a time when self, family and community connect as one.
