An initiative to nurture life on a vast scale
We are using the power of art to address the extraordinary situation in which Japan is the only developed country where suicide is the leading cause of death among young people.
A work that lets us experience the journey of life on a magnificent scale:
“LIFE® INOCHI — Re-experience Birth”
Enveloped in the 180-degree cosmic space of a planetarium,
we experience the wonder of life—our shared origin—
and nurture the self-affirmation at the heart of our vitality.
Art, businesses and local government work together, drawing on local planetariums as a community resource.
This regular, ongoing initiative to nurture the strength of life
has now begun in the Kanto region, following its launch at Bando Kobe Science Museum.
The artwork LIFE® INOCHI — Re-experience Birth
joins Galaxcity’s Children’s Future Creation Center in Adachi, home to the largest planetarium in Tokyo’s 23 wards,
and tennis-school operator Noah Indoor Stage
in offering a monthly opportunity for parents and children to nurture life together.
⭐️ To mark the opening,
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai — TEAM EXPO 2025 Co-creation Challenge
we welcomed a member of “An Art Project of Love and Life to Continue for Another 100 Years,”
the vice-chair of the Cabinet Office’s National SDGs Liaison Council and head of the SDGs Design Unit at Kyushu University,
Professor Shigeki Inoue.
He gave an accessible talk on the SDGs, illustrated with real examples,
alongside an artwork that nurtures our strength to live:
a planetarium screening of LIFE® INOCHI — Re-experience Birth.
The concert “The Connect,” performed in a cosmic space,
was also held at Galaxcity’s Children’s Future Creation Center in Adachi.
With sponsorship from tennis-school operator Noah Indoor Stage,
monthly screenings will now begin.

💫 Noah Indoor Stage
Tennis School Noah began in 1980 on the former factory site of its parent company, Nittosha,
and now operates 30 tennis schools in Japan, mainly in the Kansai region.
