〈LIFE WORLD PROJEC 〉

Our project with partner Kochi University

has begun again this year, following our work together the year before last.

Last time, Kochi University submitted to the Japan Association of National Universities

a new initiative with Feel&Sense:

Kochi University × LIFE INOCHI × Kochi University Hospital.

This healthcare art initiative was submitted

and, to our delight, the Japan Association of National Universities featured our activities. 😌

This year, once again, with the Expo ahead,

we will be working with the university. Recently, we met with its president, vice president, and a senior representative of the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau.

Together with Professor Yoshioka of Kochi University’s Faculty of Regional Collaboration

and students in the professor’s seminar,

we held our first online meeting toward the Expo. 🫢

After everyone thought deeply about “life,”

they exchanged ideas

and shared the one proposal they had chosen together.

It was a wonderful idea. 😀

We look forward to announcing it.

Stay tuned!

Next year, at a junior high school whose students will visit the Expo on a school trip,

we are planning to do something together with the students from Kochi University.

Through the artwork “LIFE INOCHI,”

we will feel and reflect on life,

and explore ways of bringing that experience into the community together with university students.

It should be an inspiring experience for the junior high school students too.

This will also be the first initiative of its kind in Japan.

For the students taking part, the project will offer not only a chance to consider how art can contribute to their community, but also an opportunity to reflect deeply on what it means to live. We hope that meeting and working with us will also become a place for their own growth.

We hope to invite the children to join us,

and present our work together in the special setting of the Expo.

LIFE INOCHI is now exploring not only art to be viewed,

but also ways of carrying that experience into the future.

〈LIFE WORLD PROJECT 〉

“LIFE® INOCHI — Re-experience Birth” began as a planetarium film.

Today, it is growing into an art program of love and life that we hope will be passed down for another 100 years.

To nurture the awareness at the heart of creating a wonderful future,

we will create places around the world where people can touch the life at the core of our being.

This is more than sharing a film:

it is about creating opportunities to connect at the source of life, across generations and borders,

again and again.

Working with local governments, universities, businesses, organizations, and individuals, we will share this work from Japan with the world.

We are seeking co-creation partners for this journey. Local governments, public agencies, schools, businesses, organizations, and individuals who would like to work alongside us are warmly invited to get in touch.
